Vision/ Creativity: Our client the Los Angeles Clipper, came to us to produce a custom stadium give-a-way for their “Armenian Heritage Night 2018”. After meeting with our client, we suggested a “stadium scarf” and it was well received.
Research and Planning: 2 types of scarves were pitched. One being a Dye Sublimated Scarf and the other being a woven scarf. The client decided to go with the woven, high definition, 2-sided scarf 7-inches by 55-inches with the fringe for its higher quality feel. Deciding to go with a woven scarf over a dye sublimated scarf limited the number of colors for the client to use. Additionally, we had the restriction of using the Clipper’s specified PMS colors for their logo.
Implementation and Production: With our restrictions of the number of colors and the client’s logo guidelines we looked to solve the issues with the manufacturing process. We solved both by having the yarn dyed the client’s PMS colors and used the same colors in the other artwork of the scarf. The results were that we kept the Clipper’s logo intact and were able to maximize the number of colors to create an attractive scarf.
Supply Chain Management and Logistics: The custom scarf was manufactured in one of our factories overseas. Shipping for this project went from our overseas factory to the client’s warehouse facility in Los Angeles, CA.
Results and Final Product: Stadium Scarves for the LA Clipper Armenian Heritage Night 2018 project consisted of 15,XXX scarves. They were delivered on time and within budget.
