Nitrogen is a chemical element designated by the symbol N. It has the atomic number 14 and is the most common terrestrial gas, making up 78% of the Earth's atmosphere by volume.

Argon is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and nontoxic in both liquid and gaseous forms. Like other noble gases (helium, krypton, neon, xenon, radon), Argon is very stable, is mostly chemically inert and rarely reacts at room temperature.

Applications include inerting and cryo-grinding in pharmaceuticals, as a chilling and freezing agent for food products, protection from microorganisms, blanketing and isolation of chemicals and oil&gas products and facilities, temperature control in reactors, low-temperature preservation of living tissues and cells for medical applications, tire-filling and Gas Assisted Injection Moulding for automobiles.
